An enigma: The Pyramids

They say the pyramids are an enigma. That their construction methods are unknown. How was it possible to lift those gigantic, perfectly carved stones? It is said that they are temples dedicated to the sky, and that they were aligned with the constellation of Orion. For the Egyptians, they were the gates to the Afterlife. Their four corners are perfectly aligned with the four cardinal points. The ratio between their height and their base has a value close to Pi, and there is also a proportion similar to Phi. They were covered with limestone so they would shine like a mirror.
