How to Make a Color Wheel Cómo hacer un círculo cromático
A color wheel is a circular chart showing how colors relate to each other.
It includes primary colors (red, yellow, blue), the secondary colors you get by mixing them (orange, green, violet), and sometimes intermediate tones.
To make one, you draw a circle, divide it into equal sections, place the primary colors, and fill the spaces between them with their mixed colors.
The wheel is used to understand color mixing, harmonies, contrasts, and which colors work well together in art and design.
Primary Colors (cannot be mixed from other colors):
- Red
- Yellow
- Blue
Secondary Colors (made by mixing primaries):
- Orange = Red + Yellow
- Green = Yellow + Blue
- Violet (Purple) = Blue + Red
